name of the lure co on the spoon until today. I've caught loads of fish
in the middle of dozens of boats and people, when they weren't hardly
catching any at all. Time to order more. 2011-01-22 13:13:44 |

| 41) Rick Cadarette,
Louisville , KY, Hi! I've been using these since I was 8 years old when
my dad gave me my first. I'm now 53 and can't tell you how many fish
I've caught using these. I can tell you it's the best spoon ever made
and one lure that I've been able to call on when all other's aren't
working. It's nice to see someone is caring on. thank you. 2010-03-11 20:40:58 |
| 40) Jay Skokie Il., The
Frizz Lure is the best. The only problem is, that it catches too many
Northern Pike and that means too many bite-offs and lost Frizz Lures.
Gotta keep making those Frizz lures to keep them Northerns happy. 2009-05-26 15:25:16 |
| 39) Craig Banks,
Louisville, Kentucky, Seeing the frizz for the first time in 30 years
took me back to my dad and me fishing when i was eight. Thank you for
keeping this lost treasure alive and bring back fun memories with my
dad! 2009-05-13 18:12:59 |
| 38) DAN TOWER, GREENSBURG,

I have used the Hofmann Spoon, and by far the best lure I have ever
used. Glad to see your still in Business! 2009-02-22 12:32:19 |
| 35) Ron Baker, Reelfoot,
TN, I am so glad we found you. There is no better lure than the Frizz's
spoon for the crappie in TN. We love your lure and were down to our last
3; found you on the internet. THANKS 2008-02-29 12:00:42 |
| 34) Harvey Septon, Oscoda,
MI, We just came back from Lake MI and caught all kinds of fish on your
KINGS. Walleye, trout, bass, and even some fish that we were not even
sure what they were. It really does catch them all!!!! Thank you 2007-07-22 21:22:15 |
| 33) jim schowe, east
central Indiana, Three weeks ago I saw some guys using rooster tails
catching rainbows and wondered what I had in my fly box that might work
mimicking the flashing of the rooster tail's blade. I had my one and
only Hofmann's spoon, silver and white and took more than eight nice
trout with it. I realized that I had this bait in my tackle for more
than four years and didn't use it. So, I ordered 48 more in assorted
colors. In the last three weeks, since I started using the spoons I have
caught large and small mouthed bass, pan fish, trout and some big ole
monster that took my fly line into the backing before breaking my two
pound tippet. I sure wish I knew what kind of fish that was, but I do
know that I was using a Hofmann's gold spoon with black feathers. Good
work Hofmann's!!! I am sold!!! 2007-05-09 20:56:28 |
| 32) Forrest Nicholas,
Elkhart, IN, My dad and I used these lures in northern Wisconsin in the
late 50's to catch many large crappies. Always used them to search for
crappies then switched to other bait/lures we could afford to lose. Glad
the product line continues. Thanks. 2007-03-11 07:01:23 |
| 31) Harry Vardon,
Lakeland, FL, This is the most versatile lure I have ever used. We catch
freshwater fish and salt water fish on your kings. We have caught bass
to bon fish and even little alligators. Keep them coming. Thank you. 2007-02-23 21:39:16 |
| 30) Kevin Brush,
Johnstown, OH, Purchased your lures at the Columbus show. I can't wait
to use them. When I do, I will send you a pic of my catch. 2007-02-13 17:52:21 |
| 29) Roger Casto, Columbus,
Ohio, It was very nice to meet you at the Columbus Sport, Vacation and
Boat show. I am looking forward to trying out my new mighty mites this
spring. I'll let you know how they perform. 2007-02-12 10:45:59 |
| 28) Brad Westbrook,
Gilroy, CA, I purchased one of the silver spoons with a white tail from
a retailer that went out of business several years ago. This lure
quickly became my prized possession as I could always count on it to get
freshwater brook trout. I have rescued this same lure several times from
various snags I've encountered. My last trip I was five casts for five
fish with this lure ! ! Incredible! ! Glad you're back in operation so I
don't have to keep chasing my snags. 2007-01-30 16:40:06 |
| 27) Bernie Poeppelman,
Fort Loramie, OH, Saw the write up in the Dayton Daily news. I love
panfishing and will definitely give these mitey-mites a try. 2007-01-21 14:43:55 |
| 26) Jack Hill, Grand
Prarie, TX, I recently sent you a picture of a 34'' Muskie caught on a
5wt. Fly rod using a Hofmann's fly spoon. Well to top things off, my
wife and I were fishing this weekend and caught over 70 white bass and
stripers using the same spoon. It got to where we were disappointed if
we stripped in the line and there wasn't a fish on the end of the line.
There was a boat full of guys sitting close by and they couldn't believe
it. I'm sure you guys will be getting some orders from Texas. 2006-09-25 18:17:05 |
| 25) Jay, Skokie, IL, So
who is Hofmann's? Whomever they are, thank you for such a super lure. I
just got back from a two day trip from a southern Wis. lake and couldn't
keep the slab crappies off the Frizz lure. It out produce live bait and
the expensive Rosy red minnows. Thanks again for a super great lure!!!! 2006-09-25 18:09:06 |
| 24) Ken Gilburg, Newport,
VT, After purchasing your lures I went fishing on Lake Memphremagog and
had great success with trout using your King & Queen lures. 2006-09-25 18:03:58 |
| 23) Bill Robinson,
Rotonda, FL, Was fishing in Minn. last week and did well with the King
and Queen. The water was pretty churned up by later in the week so we
had to almost hit'em in the nose before they'd hit. 2006-09-25 18:03:11 |
| 22) Rev. Arthur Tripp,
McAurthur, Ohio, I want to tell you a little about those lures you have.
We have used them for several years. They take more Bass, bluegills,
crappies, than any other lure we have ever used. We have hooked five
pound bass with those little lures. The trick and fun came in when we
were landing these fighters with the light tackle. We are sold on your
lures, and state they take more fish under any or all conditions. If
they will not strike your lure they just won't hit a thing. 2006-09-25 18:01:55 |
| 21) Walter Protzman,
Brookville, Ohio, On a recent vacation trip to Michigan, we caught a
total of 365 fish. 90 percent of them were caught on your lures. There
were days when we could not catch a thing on live bait, but your lures
never failed us once. 2006-09-25 17:59:44 |
| 20) Andrew Stack,
Fairfield, CA, I don't believe there's a fish anywhere that will not hit
the Frizz original flyrod spoon. Your lure is one of the very few I have
found that really handles well on a flyrod and the only spoon that roll
casts well. I haven't found the fish that won't take it in fresh or salt
water. In addition to bass, bluegill, crappie and trout, I have taken
channel cat, carp, buffalo, striped bass, drum (white perch), walleye,
pickerel and even a small alligator. In salt water, bon fish, bonito,
tuna (small ones to 20 lbs), black and red snapper, sea trout, weak
fish, salmon, cod, and others I cannot name. If I had to pick one
lure...need I say more. 2006-09-25 17:57:53 |
| 19) Paul Shaaf, Dayton,
Ohio, Have had plenty of strikes on your flyrod spoons so didn't
hesitate when I saw your new spinning and casting spoons. Still can't
understand how you can get so much action! No more messy pork rind and
all the flash in the world. The nylon tail seems to breathe. Most
important, I think, is that it's plenty weedless. 2006-09-25 17:53:11 |
| 18) David Roos,
Louisville, KY, I've been looking for these little spoons for 40 years!
